Delete your account
You can request deletion of your account and all of your data whenever you want, with no explanation and without calling anyone. You do it from the app itself, in three steps.
From the app
-
Open your profile. In the mobile app, from the profile tab. In the web dashboard, from your name in the side menu.
-
Look for "Delete account", at the bottom of the profile screen.
-
Confirm. You will be asked to confirm explicitly, because the operation cannot be undone once the period explained below has passed.
What happens next
The account is scheduled for deletion in 30 days. During that period your access is limited to your profile, and signing back in and cancelling the request is enough to get the account back untouched.
After 30 days the deletion is automatic and permanent: your login and the data attached to it are erased, including your plans, logs, messages and any files you had uploaded.
If you are a trainer, the app will not let you delete your account while you still have active clients or a live subscription. First you have to deactivate your clients or transfer them to another trainer, and cancel the subscription. It is a protection for them: if your account vanished overnight, your clients would be left without their plans.
If you are a trainer's client
Your account is yours and you can delete it the same way. Bear in mind that your trainer keeps your contact details in their own record of past clients, because that information is their responsibility; if you want those erased too, ask them directly.
If you cannot get into the app
Write to us from the email address you registered with and we will process the request manually. We will ask you to confirm before anything is carried out.
Data that is retained
Where there is a legal obligation to retain data —mainly records with tax effect arising from a subscription or a payment— those records are kept for the period the law requires, blocked and unused, and erased when it expires. Everything else goes with the account.
The detail is in the privacy notice.
